Children's Bookshelf - a great weekly newsletter that keeps you up to date with Children's Publishing

Publishers Weekly has 4 e-newsletters.

My favorite is Childrens Bookshelf. It's delivered to your email inbox on Thursdays and it contains great information ranging from reviews of just released books in all genres children to editor/personnel news.

Click on this link to sign up for Childrens Bookshelf, and the other 3 newsletters: PW Daily, PW Religion Bookline, PW Comics Week

The next best thing to being there = National Book Festival

If you didn't make it to the National Book Festival in Washington D.C. this weekend - you'll be able to see & hear the speakers online - via taped webcasts at http://www.loc.gov/bookfest/index.html

The 2006 festival isn't up yet but there are links to previous years and lots of speakers in many genres including Childrens Teens Home & Family History, and many more.

Enjoy!
